Foreign satellite communications companies such as OneWeb and SpaceX have begun the process of providing high speed internet to consumers in India through service providers such as Airtel and BSNL.This will strengthen the 5G connection in India. Bharti Airtel chief Sunil Mittal and the UK Government have invested in OneWeb, a London - based global communications company, to get the services of the above companies in India. In addition, aerospace company SpaceX has launched a feasibility study in India to provide High Speed Internet access through its satellite communications project, Starlink.
